More than  1,600 structures have been destroyed by raging wildfires in Fort McMurray. We regret to annouce that the Program - "Mahek Gujarat Ni"  scheduled for May 14th is cancelled.

Our thoughts and prayers with all the residents of Fort Mcmurray. May GOD help all of us in this difficult time to  stay strong and safe.

We are pleased to invite you all to celebrate 56th Gujarat Sthaphna Divas with the event “MAHEK GUJARAT NI” on May 14th, 2016.

Program outline is as following.
3:00 PM – 4:40 PM - Cultural Activities such as:
Maru Vatan Maru Gam (One Minute Speech by members), Garba, Drawing for kids, Slide Show, Memories of Gujarati Society etc

We request to encourage everyone to wear tradition dress. Idea is to make younger generation and kids familiar with true identity of Gujarat.

We request all members to join us to make this event successful. We encourage you to bring along any item which reflects traditions of Gujarat (for example special dresses like PATOLA and BANDHANI etc.), please contact any of the committee members.

We like to request our members and youth to showcase their talent with our Gujarati Cultural Heritage. Members can submit their names to following committee members if they are interested in performing Gujarati Garba etc.
