Gujarati Society Community Spring Cleanup. All members of the society are invited to this event.

Date: Saturday, May 11, 2019
Time: 10:00am to Noon                 
Venue: Eagle Ridge Area
Meeting Point: Picnic area at the pond between Swallow Way and Grouse Way

All members are requested to dress appropriately with weather conditions. Gloves, pickup stick, and garbage bag will be provided.

Students joining this drive will be provided with a volunteer commitment certificate. To celebrate the success of the event we will have pizza at the end.

Tips For Conducting a Safe Cleanup

• Visit your site and assess it for possible hazards. What can you do to minimize any dangers?
• Wear gloves during your cleanup.
• Youth under 18 must wear safety goggles when using the graffiti removing wipes.
• Do not pick up any dangerous items including broken glass and discarded needles.
• Volunteers are discouraged from cleaning along all highways.
• Be very careful around parked cars, driveways, and roadways.
• Wash hands thoroughly when completed.
